I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly. I met a few guests that had great conversation. The room I stayed in reminded me of a modern efficiency apartment. Basic, spacious bathroom, two burner electric stovetop, refrigerator/freezer combo, desk setup, flat screen tv with cable & the ability to plug your own tv/gaming preferences with an hdmi cord & control of your own ac temperature. I would stay here again.
A good experience. I don't stay at hotels much but this one was well. I came in about 7pm room was available (thank god) front desk lady did a fine job explaining amenities as well as safety ( emergency exits) the room was about $114 after tax and stuff. Hallway was cleaned nothing obstructing the way. They do have a snack area you can buy stuff ( chips sodas noodles breakfast sandwiches and other drinks apple/orange juice and POP. The room I had look very nice. This room does include a nice size fridge/freezer (4feet) sink with dishes ( new small bottle of soap hint hint) microwave and a stove with pots even a dishwasher! Regular double queen bed with a table to sit at. I wasnt a fan of the noisy stiff bed and the tough pillows. The blanket was thick enough to survive the chicago cold night. The heater controls are on the wall so that's nice the heater certainly will warm this small space very well. They do have a gym and atm on site The bathroom: does need an update to match the room. If there would be a minus star it would be here. I don't spend a lot of time in there but it would be nice if it looked a bit more presentable. The tub is a non traditional color which always made me think of projects and the shower head on the inside doesn't look like it'd ever been Cleaned. Now the water pressure is 8 of 10 (good) the hot water is 9.5/10 very hot it'll even burn you a little Each room and experience is different my experience here was very well and I would come back again oh and no bugs!
LOVED our stay here!! My group was welcomed by the friendliest woman we have interacted with in the hospitality business!! I wish we caught her name so we could shout her out but she rocked! She even recommended a better casino after we told her we planned on visiting the other one nearby! We informed her we were also going to a wedding and she made sure to ask the next morning about it! She truly cared about her guests! We went out to the lobby the next morning, and were greeted with so many cute Halloween decorations!! They really do care about making you feel at home! Our rooms were clean and comfortable, fast WiFi, no problems at all! We will definitely return in the future! :)
I read some reviews complaining about location but it seems fine to me. We have a king suite and it’s very comfortable. Bathroom and shower is ample in size too. Typical hotel with shampoo mounted on the wall.
I wish the tub would’ve been a bit cleaner. It had some major soap residue and dark/black markings. Other than that, perfect one day stay!
Dylan, at the front desk was amazing! My flight got delayed and I missed my reservation. He managed to still get me in at 3:30am. I had to work at 5:30am. On my way out he had a food basket waiting for me so I had something to eat for breakfast/lunch. Even another lady at the front desk made sure my reservation was taken care of the following day. Overall the front desk were amazing and made my long stay very welcoming.
By far I've been here 2 weeks and had nothing but a pleasant stay! Shanda has been very accommodating and friendly! My favorite host by far!! Good commute, close restaurants, and all in all good rooms plus tons of extra storage and service to you! Definitely deserves 5 stars well done Mrs Shanda I would more then be happy to come again! It's clean as most Choice Hotels are. The swimming pool is now closed up. The receptionists room maids and maintenance are all friendly and helpful. Our home was completely destroyed on 1/1/25 so this is home for now. Cooking and eating utensils are minimal, great for a few days stay. Cook tops are electronic 2 positions. Convenient for I 80 and downtown.
